Not all treatment centers are created equal. Never mind the five star dining, or the pastoral estate accommodations! What sets AToN apart from other substance disorder programs? The people, the human element which is quite intangible. I have never experienced a staff who were all so dedicated in helping clients with their journey into recovery. From freshly baked macaroons, to AToN’s cutting edge approach in the areas of education, spirituality and holistic medicine. You will not be disappointed! I appreciated the “one size does NOT fit all” approach to recovery. You are encouraged to pursue and utilize what works for you and your journey into a sober lifestyle. I joined AToN right after covid and I thank God for this place every single day of my life hence, why im writing this review. I am almost 3 years sober now and have this place to thank. AToN saved my life and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The care, activities and exercises for strengthening your mind, body and soul are truly a God send. My family sought out to provide the best care I can possibly have to start my sober journey, after an intense battle with alcohol, AToN is where I landed. As someone who works with clients struggling with trauma histories, chronic relapse and failed treatments, I look for.treatment programs that excel in clinical approach and who offer much more than the standard rehab.. What I've discovered in AToN center is a program that excels in areas that most addiction programs are unable to provide. The phrase 'trauma-informed" is being tossed around frequently these days, with little comprehension of the impact all levels of traumatic experiences have on us. Without the clinical and intuitive understanding of this there can't be true recovery for those who also struggle with addiction. AToN has a premier clinical staff, who possess the vital additional ingredient of genuineness, and a true commitment to their client's recovery. The facilities and grounds are beyond peaceful and offer the perfect setting to heal. I highly recommend this program. ~ S H

Incredible experience. A 5 star luxurious treatment center that addresses the root causes of substance use disorder. They have five beautiful houses that are always kept clean & 3 talented chefs that cook incredible food. The groups are intimate & engaging. I can’t say enough about the staff & the clinicians. They are knowledgeable, caring & non-judgmental. AToN strives to make sure all residents get their individual treatment needs met & are comfortable during their stay. I would recommend to anybody who struggles with addiction & co-occurring mental disorders. ~ Matthew W

I have a couple of good friends that have come through this treatment program and are approaching almost a year of being clean. From sharing their experience, it provided them with enough tools to be able to engage in daily life affairs and were able to really connect with the counsellors to dive into deep rooted problems. They are now out hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and have been sober through that experience as well. I am incredibly grateful to Aton Center and the staff there for giving these guys an amazing foundation for rebuilding their lives. ~ Andy F

Of course not every treatment center is perfect for everyone, however, it is hard to complain about this place. The houses here are extremely nice and full of relaxing amenities. Food is prepared by skilled chefs and all staff is pretty sweet. Not extremely strict. The therapists are amazing and the doctors are hands on and listen to what you need. Everyone has their own opinion and experience but personally I would highly recommend looking into this place especially if they accept your insurance. HMO accepted. ~ Samantha F

My whole life has been defined by my depression, anxiety and substance use disorder. AToN was not my first treatment rodeo (so I will declare my self an expert here). However, AToN by far the best and I would rate it as one of the greatest experiences of my life (which admittedly is a crowded field when one drank and used like I used to). The residential atmosphere combined with small group sessions and the most progressive state of the art approach to treatment has let me feel that eye of the tiger fight for life for the first time in 20 years. The importance of the precision, individually tailored, approach prescribed at AToN cannot be understated. The fact that each patient gets 1 individual therapy session a day as opposed to 1 a week (nobody can cover the necessary ground in just 4 individual sessions over a 30 day stay) is paramount. If you’re one of us that has touched the void and can’t find your way back, start here. AToN’s trauma informed approach teaches you that everyone deserves another shot at redemption. Aton was an amazing place I would refer to anyone needing treatment. There wasn’t a single staff member who was rude, great therapists, very clean facility, fast response from doctors, amazing case worker that will help set you up for aftercare anywhere in the country, and top notch holistics. Unfortunately I’ve been to many rehabs and no where even holds a candle to this place. Would only send my family or friends here. Thank you ATON! ~ Devon H

A very transformative experience. I would highly recommend AToN to anyone ready to do the hard work that it takes to kick addiction to the curb and heal one's whole self. After years of putting off rehab, and making excuses for why I couldn’t go, I finally decided to invest the time in making my life better. Selecting Aton was the best decision I made. The facilities are world class, as is the staff. This was the first time in my 25 year career that I took more than 5 days off of work, and it gave me a brand new perspective. I took 30 days to focus on myself, my struggles, and my wellbeing - I would have stayed longer if I could have. The curriculum is straight forward but powerful, and applicable to all life events, even the mundane. The schedule is flexible enough that I was able to stay current on business matters, and the holistic program offered me the opportunity to try things I’d never done before (eg acupuncture, yoga, painting) and those that I wish I did more often (eg massage, physical therapy). And the food... it’s like dining at nice restaurant three times a day. I recommend Aaron for anyone struggling with substance issues who is willing to fully immerse themselves and who appreciates the value of a top-notch facility rooted compassion and self-betterment. -Andrew ~ andrew r

I have visited treatment centers all over the country and AToN center is one of the most beautiful centers I have seen. It's truly healing space. Their staff is also incredibly caring, responsive and responsible, and completely committed to the recovery of men and women from addiction. Great place, I hardly ever review places unless I feel very confident that I can be truly positive and have words of encouragement! My husband was at a point of not living for much longer, his intake of alcohol and 20 plus years of drinking over took his body and mind! It appeared to be no hope! He had detoxed at least 20 times went into treatment centers, etc. it’s when he came here and made a complete 180! Our lives are unbelievable at peace and we live a beautiful life each day! It’s not been an easy road but he made a decision to do the work and fast forward to now…..he’s enrolled in school becoming a Psychologist and has a 4.0 as of today! Doesn’t have much longer to go🙂 He wants to help people like himself who he understands the pain and struggle of it alll! I’m beside my self and I’m awe!!! Together we want to spend the rest of our lives helping those who have walked the path of this pain that some people just do not understand, thanks to the owners, doctors, nurses and especially Dr. Small who he initially connected with and who let him know he cared! AToN is a five-star class-act recovery center, which is excellent in combining western medicine and eastern holistics to help heal and transition the mind/body towards recovery. The center has beautiful amenities and the coursework is extensive. The center continued support with its alumni weekly support meetings. Aton Center is an all around amazing treatment center. I have had the opportunity to meet and work with many of the clients completing Aton's inpatient program and have since begun to refer my own friends to this program when they need help. I knew that there was something special about this facility after having met a dozen or so graduates from Aton who had each had incredibly powerful experiences there. Since then I have met many more of their graduates and haven't ever heard a complaint or negative comment about their facility. In the treatment world this is generally unheard of, but Aton has a unique way of making their clients feel genuinely cared for. The staff at Aton delivers on their promises and provides a beautiful and therapeutic healing environment. Their doctors, therapists, counselors and techs are compassionate and inspire their clients to break through many of the barriers that have prevented their recovery in past attempts to stay sober. Aton provides an excellent example of what real substance abuse treatment can look like when the staff is properly qualified and personally invested in each individual's successful recovery. ~ Robert W

This was an amazing experience, everyone was so kind and professional. So many healing amenities and amazing counselors. I researched over 100 different treatment centers and decided AToN center was where I would go for treatment. I did 35 days at AToN center and it completely changed my life. During the detox portion of my stay I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness from the nursing staff. My nurse James went above and beyond to help me get through those awful days of detox. The holistic activities offered are all AMAZING. I cannot say enough great things about all the staff members at AToN. The food will also change your life - it’s all 5 star meals. However they do not allow outside food or drink so don’t try to buy soda off Amazon and have it delivered, they won’t give it to you. It’s probably for the best you don’t have excess sugar. If you’re craving soda they have sparkling waters stocked in the fridges at all times. Make sure if you go here you get involved in all the extra activities. Breathwork, sound bowl yoga, meditation, morning and afternoon hikes, painting class etc. they are sooo amazing! I learned so much about myself and the therapists helped me get to the root of my addiction. I also made lifelong friends. Highly recommend AToN for anyone struggling with addiction, this is the right place to go. ~ Summer P
